Frank has been in the security industry since 1993. Before joining ASI, he was the Chief Operating Officer of a regional security provider supporting approximately 450 clients in the southeast with a P&L responsibility above $400M and over 4,500 employees. Frank brings a vast knowledge of the security field and vertical markets in his leadership role. He has active memberships with ASIS International, through which he also holds the designation of CPP, International Security Association, FASCO, FALI, and other organizations.

Nate has been a rising leader in the security industry over the last decade. He leads ASI’s growing technology division and company-wide revenue generation efforts, while providing operational strategy and marketing support across ASI’s portfolio. Nate is an active member of ASIS International, BOMA, IREM and IFMA. Currently, Nate is the Executive Chairperson for Marsden’s Leadership Council, a group comprised of top leaders and executives throughout Marsden’s portfolio of companies.

Ray has been involved in the criminal justice industry since 2005 and has worked in both asset protection and private security. Ray has ascended through the ranks with American, since 2010. Ray’s background in training and development helps to drive his focus around continuous process improvement, and is known in our organization as a “change leader.” Ray oversees operational process over our entire portfolio, delivering quality assurance programs to our customers and operational teams.

Anthony entered the protective services/criminal justice industry in 1992 and has worked in both public and private capacities. As a security management leader, as well as an academic and educator with a Master in Criminology and a Doctorate in Psychology, Anthony leads and directs ASI’s growing Training & Consultative Services division, ensuring quality training and consulting services to both internal and external customers that are evidence-base, practical, and consistently applied across all ASI markets.

James Ristvedt, Vice President, Investigative Services, American Security

James Ristvedt, Vice President, Investigative Services

James has conducted, managed, or assisted with over 5,000 investigations, spanning a wide array of case types and client types, with each posing its unique challenges. In addition to his investigative credentials, James is also a licensed attorney. James received the highest score statewide on the Arizona Bar Exam out of a field of nearly 600 examinees in 2019. His Multi-State Bar Examination (MBE) score ranking was in the 99.8th percentile out of approximately 50,000 examinees nationwide.

Terri founded her first company in 1984 and has been an entrepreneur ever since. Terri loves to build systems and processes and build companies. Her experience in the Credit and Collections Industry of over 28 years provided her the knowledge and vision to start Capture Research as a subsidiary in 2007. Terri has served on several national and local boards and was the executive director of the Minnesota Association of Collectors for 15 years. Her interests in lobbying and policy provided her the opportunity to serve on the US Chamber Small Business Board and the US Chamber International Policy Board in Washington DC.

After two acquisitions and selling two companies herself, Terri focused her business on the Mergers and Acquisition Industry. After merging Capture Research with Heartland Investigations, Terri is responsible for Strategy and Business Development. Her focus is to work with clients that can best use the skills and experience of Heartland Investigations/Capture Research. Providing the highest quality investigation with tenacity and integrity is her top priority.
